The Markesan Book Club will be meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at 6:00 pm to discuss "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles. "A Gentleman in Moscow" follows Count Alexander Rostov, who is sentenced by Bolshevik tribunal to house arrest in the grand Metropol Hotel. Count Rostov bears his adverse circumstances with humor, and introduces us to colorful characters and vivid scenes of life in Russia before and after the revolution.
